Why agencies are a poor fit for real estate

Retainers before results

A $2,500 to $5,000 monthly retainer starts before anything is live.

Generalists in a specialist market

Most agencies have never worked with an MLS feed or an IDX home search.

Contracts you cannot leave

Six and twelve month agreements are standard, whether it is working or not.

You become the account manager

Requests sit in a queue, and chasing them becomes your job.

Questions about working with Avenue

Is Avenue a marketing agency?

No. Avenue is software with a real team behind it. You get the work an agency does, websites, search, content and campaigns, without an agency retainer and without a long contract.

How does the cost compare with hiring an agency?

For a single agent, managed plans run $299 to $499 a month with no setup fee. Teams and brokerages get a custom plan, because every brokerage runs differently. Published pricing guides put real estate agency retainers at $2,500 to $5,000 a month, with ad spend billed on top of that.

What happens in the first month, and every month after?

First we look at your market, your current website and where you show up today, then agree what to work on first. We build your site, connect your MLS listings and move your existing content across. After that we publish new pages, keep your visibility monitored and fixed, run your campaigns, and make changes when you ask.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Plans are monthly, and you can cancel with 30 days notice.

Can you build my site, or take over the one I have?

We build it, and a site build is part of any paid plan. That includes moving over the content from a site you already have.

Do you run ads, and is ad spend included?

Our team runs Google, Facebook, Instagram and ChatGPT campaigns. Accelerate includes $100 a month of ad spend. Anything above that is billed monthly, and you can change it whenever you want.
